I was becoming increasingly worried about SEN Switcher and figuring out a way to keep it alive after Flash is deprecated in January 2021. SEN Switcher was written back in 2000 using Macromedia Flash and Actionscript 1.0. Back then most Flash programs relied heavily on timeline based animation. SEN Switcher was no exception. This meant converting or recompiling wasn’t an option.

Yesterday, I figured out the I could write a ‘package’ program which would allow the old AS 1.0 files to run in a more modern environment.
