Working at a Cause and Effect Level
A three-part module exploring working at a cause and effect level with switches, touch devices and eye gaze. This module focuses on the links between cause and effect and early communication.
Learning to Choose with One or two Switches
A multi-part self-study course which explores learning how to choose with one or two switch. Each stage is extensively covered laying out pathways for all students to make progress.
Skills Progression with Touch Devices
A multi-part self-study course which explores we can structure the use of touch devices to help our students develop the skills to use them to make independent choices.
Skills Progression with Eye Gaze Devices
A multi-part self-study course which explores the challenges of using eye gaze devices for students with PMLD. The module explores a skills progression pathway most suited to this student group.
Switch Progression Road Map for 2025
A multi-hour self-study course which exemplifies each stage of the Switch Progression Road Map using more modern software and teaching techniques. This course also details the changes to the Switch Progression Road which are necessary to reflect modern teaching methods.
Assistive Technology: Progression and Practise
A 6 hour self-study course covering assistive technology and its application in the education of young people with severe and complex needs. This course covers AT awareness, switch, touch device and eye gaze progression plus practical ideas for embedding AT use in classroom teaching.
