Updating the Switch Progression Road Map

It’s nearly 10 years since I wrote the Switch Progression Road Map for Inclusive Technology. In that time many thousands of schools around the world have used the booklet to help plan and deliver motivating and meaningful learning opportunities for switch users. Through its carefully explained small steps and links to commonly available software, it’s proved an invaluable resource.  However, 10 years is a long time. Technology has moved on and with it, some of our thinking around the process of teaching these important skills.

This webinar re-examines the Switch Progression Road Map in light of technological advancement, changes in teaching methods and our expectations of what our students can achieve.

This webinar is best for those who are using the Switch Progression Road Map directly or indirectly to support their students. The session is accompanied by a comprehensive handout including new level descriptors for switch progression together with updated teaching models. The session will be recorded and available to watch on this website for at least 12 months after the event.
