Teaching Switch Skills with iPad
iPads are a very useful tool we can use alongside other devices such as computers, switch toys and mains controllers to support the development of switch access skills for students with severe and complex additional support needs.
This one hour workshop explores how we might use the iPad to support the development of switch access skills for this group of students. We’ll cover what you need to get started, how to set up your iPad to use switches to support learning objectives, and which apps to use at each level of skills progression.
This session will be most useful for colleagues who are working directly or indirectly with people who use switches to access communication learning or leisure and is suitable for colleagues working at all skill levels.
All of our webinars are recorded and available to watch soon after the event.
