Embedding Assistive Technology into the Curriculum

We teach our students to use assistive technology to help them become more independent. Using assistive technology, our students can access devices and software which provide access to both learning and communication opportunities. This webinar explores ways we as educators can deliver lessons which include assistive technology users in a way which is both meaningful to the student and appropriate to their access levels. Our goal:  Opportunities to use assistive technology in every part of the school day.

This webinar is best for those who are using assistive technology in their class but want their students to use it more effectively throughout the school day. The session is accompanied by a comprehensive handout including level descriptors and teaching models and will be recorded and available to watch on this website for at least 12 months after the event.
