© SENICT 2025. All Rights Reserved.

1. Invoices and Payments

Invoices for training and consultancy delivered in the UK are issued shortly after the event. If you prefer to receive an invoice before the event, please inform us as soon as possible.

Payment is requested within 30 days of the invoice date. In the event of late payment, any agreed discounts will be rescinded.

We reserve the right to recover any monies remaining unpaid beyond 60 days from the invoice date via collection agencies and/or through the Small Claims Court (for balances not exceeding £3,000). In such cases, you shall be liable for any associated administrative and/or court costs.

2. Beanie in a Box Consultancy Packages

Beanie in a Box consultancy packages are invoiced on booking and must be settled within 30 days of issue. Your consultancy package cannot begin until the invoice is cleared.

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, all school visits included in a Beanie in a Box consultancy must be taken within 12 months of the initial visit. Visit days not taken within this period will be considered expired. No refunds will be offered.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all visit days are scheduled and completed within the 12-month consultancy period.

3. PD Centre Invoices

Invoices for School-level PD Centre subscriptions must be settled within 30 days of issue.

You are free to begin your subscription at any time after receiving your invoice and activation code.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any membership services where an invoice remains unpaid after 30 days.

4. Training and Consultancy Overseas

SENICT is pleased to provide training and consultancy to organisations worldwide; however, special payment conditions apply.

Training and consultancy delivered outside the United Kingdom are invoiced in advance and must be settled no later than four weeks before the event date.

5. Memory Sticks

As our memory sticks contain copyrighted software, we cannot accept returns unless the items are defective.

If there is a problem with the memory sticks you receive, please contact us as soon as possible.

6. Payment Methods

Payments can be made by BACS, Bank Transfer, or cheque.

Ian Bean is a self-employed independent trainer; tax and National Insurance should not be deducted.

7. Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of UK-based training and consultancy.

For bookings outside the UK, a minimum of seven (7) days’ notice is required.

Notification (e.g., in person, by email, phone, text message, or fax) will be accepted, subject to confirmation in writing.

We reserve the right to levy a charge equal to 50% of the invoice amount for training and consultancy cancelled after the above deadlines.

8. Termination of Agreements and Refunds Policy

Both the Client and SENICT reserve the right to terminate any service agreement for any reason, including the discontinuation of ongoing services.

No refunds shall be offered where a service has already begun and is, for all practical purposes, underway.

Refunds and Cancellations for PD Centre Subscriptions

By purchasing a paid subscription to the SENICT Professional Development Centre (“the Site”), you acknowledge and agree to the following refund terms under UK consumer law:

  1. Immediate Access to Digital Content
Paid subscriptions provide instant access to exclusive digital materials, including downloadable software, training videos, and other proprietary content.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, once you have agreed to receive digital content immediately and access has been granted, you lose your right to cancel or request a refund.

  2. No Refunds After Access or Download
Because our products are digital and access is granted immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds once members-only content has been accessed, software downloaded, or training videos viewed, whether in full or in part. This policy helps prevent misuse of our intellectual property and digital resources.

  3. Exceptions
Refunds may only be considered if:

    • You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate payment), or

    • You were unable to access the purchased content due to a verified technical issue on our side that we could not resolve within a reasonable time.
Any such requests must be made in writing to info@ianbean.co.uk within 7 days of the transaction date.

  4. Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If the digital content supplied is defective, faulty, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with UK law.

  5. Acknowledgment of Agreement
By completing your subscription purchase, you confirm that you:

    • Have read and understood this Refunds and Cancellations Policy;

    • Consent to immediate access to the digital content; and

    • Acknowledge that by accessing the content, you waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
