Outer Space
Outer Space is an engaging 'alien' themed cause and effect program for young people with additional needs who are learning to interact with their world through a computer.
The program features high contrast alien characters and space vehicles together with motivating music and spacey sound effects.
A wide range of access options are available to ensure that everyone can use Outer Space regardless of which access device they are currently using. Watch our helpful video guide to get you started.
Using Outer Space is easy. Simply click the button for the access device you are using and the activity is ready to go. Each device can be tailored to meet a specific access need, for example you can change the colour of the switch prompts to match the switch the young person is using. You can also select the size and type of the prompts and targets, use larger mouse pointers to help those with VI and set an eye gaze dwell click time appropriate to the young person's access needs.
Full instructions on how to set up Outer Space for your access devices are included in the data sheet which you can download from the link below.
