iPads are a very useful tool we can use alongside other devices such as touchscreens and interactive whiteboards to support the development of touch access skills for students with severe and complex additional support needs.

This one hour workshop explores how we might use the iPad to support the development of touch access skills for this group of students. We’ll cover simple baseline assessment, target setting using our level descriptors and share lots of apps you can use at every stage of skills development.

This session will be most useful for colleagues who are working directly or indirectly with people who are using touch to access communication learning or leisure and is suitable for colleagues working at all skill levels.

All of our webinars are recorded and available to watch soon after the event.

Joining this meeting is free for subscribers to our PD Centre. Save 50% off the cost if you have a free registration with our website. Please register or log in before purchasing. Member discounts are automatically applied.
